I just realized this, but MobileMe used to be .Mac! That in itself partly explains why people are having trouble with MobileMe for the iPhone. I used to have a .Mac account. It is probably one of the worst products Apple has made. It is notoriously slow and cumbersome. It's something that Apple hasn't fixed for years, and so I don't think they'll resolve people's complaints any time soon. My advice fwiw, don't get MobileMe. (BTW I am not even "shorting AAPL" I'm actually long on it).

I signed up for MobileMe this morning, here it is at &:25 in the evening and I still am having NO LUCK getting this DARK FRIGGIN CLOUD or anything in MobileMe to work on my iMac G5.
Well, I'll guess I'll have to call my credit card company and tell them NOT TO ALLOW the $99 charge from Apple.
I love my Apple Computer, but I hate the boobs running Apple and especially the IDIOT who invented iMovie 08. Must have been her drunk husband who came up with the idea of MasochistMe.
